The old site felt dated and hard to use. Layout was confusing, and it did not help shippers and carriers connect. Mobile visitors dropped off.
I studied behavior with the team and rebuilt the structure around two clear paths. One for shippers. One for carriers. We kept pages light, copy plain, and actions close at hand. The new site feels like part of the product and makes contact simple.
Serve two groups on one site without sending either in circles. Keep the look close to the app. Make it work well on phones. Avoid heavy systems and keep updates simple.
I led UX, UI, and front end from kickoff to launch. I ran an audit, mapped flows, and built wireframes in Figma. I created comps in Figma with assets in Photoshop and Illustrator. I coded the site with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript using Bootstrap and jQuery. I wrote forms and plain copy so people can act fast.
Traffic more than doubled and signups grew tenfold. People reach forms in fewer steps and spend more time on the right pages. The site now supports sales every day and feels true to Go By Truck.
From the homepage, two direct routes. Shippers can ask for a quote or see how it works. Carriers can join or view tools. Menus are simple. Calls to action stay visible on every page.
A clean layout, large type, and real photos from the road set the tone. Color and spacing guide the eye. Icons explain steps at a glance. Screens were designed in Figma and assets prepared in Photoshop and Illustrator.
I built a custom site so the code matches the designs and loads quickly. Bootstrap handles layout. Scripts are small and images are compressed. I tested across devices and fixed issues before launch.
